One clamping – all operations
The new development from TORWEGGE - and at the same time the highlight of the Ligna - is the new innovative Optimat SBT 100 for processing door leaves. The compact and solid door leaf processing machine allows the complete milling and drilling operations for door locks in only one clamping. Moreover, it carries out all processing operations for hinges of any kind. Bores for screw-in hinges at the door leaves are also part of the standard tasks of the SBT 100. The all-rounder has been designed for the production of small and medium batch sizes.
Depending on the equipment and technical requirements, this NC-controlled machine reaches a capacity of up to 120 - 150 door leaves per shift.
For the processing, the operator positions the door leaves on the machine table. After the first side has been finished, the door leaf is turned and the milling and drilling operations are continued on the opposite side.
There are many different options for the equipment of the machine. The lock case working unit belongs to the basic equipment as well as the face plate, key hole and handle milling tools.
Free capacities for the equipment with additional working units provide nearly unlimited possibilities for the hinge processing.
The machine concept is designed for an ergonomic and efficient operation. Features such as graphic-controlled user interfaces, production lists and clear text error messages perfect this technical solution. Extension and automation options such as data transfer from production control systems and barcode controls are provided.
Small- and medium-sized companies as well as industrial companies with the production of small batch sizes benefit from the flexibility of the SBT 100.
Drilling or milling? Simply in parallel!
Whoever intends to process block or surrounding frames according to highest standards relies on the TORWEGGE frame processing machine ZKR 510. The machine is designed for milling lock plates and hinges as well as for drilling screw-in hinges and adjuster bores. In order to produce high quantities of up to 300 complete frames, the operator can equip the ZKR 510 with two basic machine columns for parallel processing. The modular design of this machinery type allows very fast and dynamic processing - moreover, the ZKR 510 can be integrated into existing production lines for complete processing of frames in throughfeed operation.
Combination for success - the modular TORWEGGE design for panel production
For the production of door leaf blanks as well as for the production of compound and lightweight panels, TORWEGGE offers several construction modules with a comprehensive range of machines for the panel production for all performance classes. All machines of the series Optimat, Profiline and Powerline can be combined in a very flexible way and can be equipped with different glue systems such as hot-melt glue, PVAc glue or UREA.
And for pressing the individual components, the modular construction also provides solutions for all fields of applications and company sizes. The range includes calenders for simple applications, belt presses for the demanding material application up to multi-storey presses.
Relief of personnel and increase of capacity - and all that totally automatically
The series PWR 100 and PWR 500 are suitable for the production of door leaf blanks and compound and lightweight panels as well as for surface coating with sheet material for door leaf blanks and compound panels for customers from the handicraft and industrial sector.
Up to now, the high level of automation was the sole benefit of the PWR 500. The Optimat PWR 100, however, moves up. Now this machine can also be automated to a certain extent and be equipped with a workpiece return device to the operator. As an option, the infeed as well as the outfeed rollers of the workpiece return device can be equipped with a stacking unit. As a result, the personnel is relieved and the capacity is increased. It depends on the customer's requirements, if this automation is reached by a combined feeding-stacking gantry or by a robot. During the Ligna, TORWEGGE will present a large variety of interesting customers' samples from all sectors.
Because of the modular design as well as the different performance classes and automation levels, these series can be individually adjusted to the customers' requirements. Thus, these series are specially attractive for the customers on account of their flexibility and a convincing price-performance-ratio.
RANDOM LENGTH – Multi-layer parquet in one go
Together with HOMAG, TORWEGGE developed the Double End Tenoner Line RANDOM LENGTH for crosswise processing of multi-layer parquet with "Click"-profile. All workpieces may have various lengths, same as for the production of solid wood parquet. As a result, also smaller suppliers benefit from a cost-efficient production with random lengths and an optimal material utilization.
The machine, which was developed on the basis of the series 260, closes one of the last gaps in the wide range of Double End Tenoners of the HOMAG Group. The machine allows to process up to 100 workpieces per minute with up to 8 motor units - and on account of the single-sided concept with integrated offset station there are no set-up losses, when the dimensions are changed.
